29 April 2026. Ambassador D.Enkhtaivan paid a courtesy call on Indonesia’s Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin to exchange views on broadening cooperation in the health sector between the two countries. During the meeting, Ambassador Enkhtaivan highlighted that 2026 marks the 70 th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Indonesia. He emphasized the strong potential for expanding bilateral cooperation in areas such as healthcare services, pharmaceutical production, health technology, and knowledge sharing and capacity building. He also noted opportunities for collaboration in improving access to healthcare in remote areas and in the field of traditional medicine. Furthermore, the Ambassador expressed confidence that the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the respective Ministries of Health would provide important support for implementing these initiatives. Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin welcomed these proposals and agreed that signing a Memorandum of Understanding would serve as a solid foundation for launching practical cooperation in the health sector between the two countries.
