Ambassador participated in the ASEAN Regional Forum Senior Officials’ Meeting

Manila, 09 June 2026. Ambassador participated in the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) Senior Officials’ Meeting, held in Manila on 09-10 June 2026.

During the meeting, participants reviewed the implementation of the ARF Hanoi Plan of Action 2020–2025 and discussed the draft Manila Plan of Action 2026–2036, which is scheduled for adoption at the ARF Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in July 2026. The meeting also provided an opportunity for an exchange of views on regional and international issues of common concern.

In his statement, Ambassador D. Enkhtaivan reaffirmed Mongolia’s steadfast commitment to strengthening international peace and security through dialogue, mutual respect, and adherence to the principles of international law. He also reiterated Mongolia’s continued support for the ARF’s preventive diplomacy initiatives and confidence-building measures, emphasizing the country’s commitment to remaining an active contributor to these efforts. Furthermore, Ambassador highlighted the significance of the Ulaanbaatar Dialogue on Northeast Asian Security, an international conference that promotes peace and stability in Northeast Asia. He underscored Mongolia’s intention to continue making active contributions to enhancing regional cooperation through multilateral initiatives, including efforts to address climate change, combat desertification, and advance other areas of common interest.
