EMBASSY OF MONGOLIA PARTICIPATED IN “JAKARTA MARKETING WEEK 2026”

Jakarta, 07 May, 2026. The Embassy prepared a special session entitled “Go Mongolia” as part of the “Jakarta Marketing Week 2026”, taking place from 06-10 May, 2026, to introduce Mongolia’s cultural heritage, tourism sector, and trade and investment environment to the Indonesian public and business community.
In his opening remarks, Ambassador D. Enkhtaivan highlighted that 2026 marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Indonesia. He emphasized the importance of further expanding bilateral cooperation and strengthening people-to-people ties through tourism, cultural collaboration, and business partnerships.
During the event, distinguished Indonesian business representatives, including Hermawan Kartajaya, founder of MCorp and marketing expert as well as organizer of “Jakarta Marketing Week 2026,” and S.D. Darmono, Cultural Envoy of Mongolia, Founder and Chairman of PT Jababeka Tbk, delivered remarks and presented their ongoing efforts to promote Mongolia internationally. In addition, Irene, Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Beijing, which is concurrently accredited to Mongolia, conveyed congratulatory remarks and provided an overview of the current state of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Representatives from the Mongolian Investment and Trade Agency and the Governor’s Office of Bayankhongor Province also participated virtually, presenting Mongolia’s trade and investment climate as well as tourism opportunities in the Central Region.
As part of “Jakarta Marketing Week 2026,” the Mongolian Cultural Center in Tanjung Lesung Special Economic Zone of Indonesia is operating a dedicated exhibition booth promoting Mongolia, while Indonesian students performed traditional Mongolian dances for guests attending the event.
