English Training Programme for Mongolian teachers commences in the Philippines

Manila, 06 October 2025 – Ambassador D.Enkhtaivan visited Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) and attended the opening ceremony of the English Training Programme dedicated for Mongolian teachers. The training programme, fully funded by the Technical Cooperation Council of the Philippines, will be conducted over a period of one month and is being attended by eight teachers from both urban and rural schools of Mongolia.
The training programme serves as a pilot-project implemented withing the framework of the cooperation in the field of education between Mongolia and the Republic of the Philippines, which was agreed during the official visit of H.E. Ms. Battsetseg Batmunkh, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia to the Republic of the Philippines on 18-19 May 2025.
In his remarks at the opening ceremony, Ambassador D.Enkhtaivan underlined that the successful completion of this pilot-project will be pivotal for further strengthening of educational cooperation between the two countries. Furthermore, Ambassador emphasized that the training programme is highly significant in the capacity-building of human resources, specifically of teachers and professionals for English language curriculum of the Secondary schools in Mongolia.
