Exchanged views on inter-parliamentary cooperation

Jakarta, 05 March 2026. Ambassador D.Enkhtaivan met with H.E. Mr. Muhammad Hilman Mufidi, MP, Chairman of the Indonesia-Mongolia Parliamentary Friendship Group of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia.

During the meeting Ambassador D.Enkhtaivan emphasized the importance of inter-parliamentary cooperation between the two countries and reiterated Mongolia’s aspiration to further expanding and strengthening relations and cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries in this historic year of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Indonesia. Two sides exchanged views on visits and activities that could be jointly implemented at the parliamentary level.

Chairman Muhammad Hilman Mufidi emphasized broad potential and opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation between the two countries. He also expressed Indonesia’s commitment to further strengthening inter-parliamentary ties and cooperation, and his willingness to continue support for visits and joint activities to commemorate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
